About Us

Pepermint Agency is your go-to agency for design, organization, and implementation of new innovative projects in the areas of business, entertainment, sporting events and the communications industry.

Pepermint is the successor od DA! which was part of Digitel Komunikacije, the largest communications group in the Balkan region. Between 2000 and 2008, DA! Agency, led by Tomislav Ricov and Boris Kovaček, was the market leader in the event=marketing space and worked on leading campaigns and events across various industries. The agency’s trademarks were its creative concepts and a level of excellence in their implementation, so it is safe to say that the agency laid the foundations for the development of the Croatian event industry. DA! has worked with Clients such as: HT – Croatian Telecom, Zagrebačka banka, Siemens, Nokia, Privredna banka Zagreb, Splitska banka, Coca-Cola, TDR/BAT, Podravka, Pliva, Belupo, Gillette, AXE, Karlovačka pivovara, Zagrebačka pivovara, Adidas,  while participating in the organization of some of the largest projects like Dajmo da čuju, the FIS Snow Queen Trophy race, and many others.

In 2008 Tomo and Boris have made a strategic decision to start their own projects which will also cover various industries and enter new revenue streams like ticket sales, catering, and sponsorships. And that is how the Pepermint agency was born.

Pepermint is a proud creator of various projects:

Plavi Zub

the first mobile-phone film festival in the world. The festival also received its versions in Slovenia and Serbia. After the problems that Nokia, the festival's main sponsor, had at the end of the aughts, the festival shut down.

Dan D

The first Croatian festival for design-related industries was a collaboration with the Croatian Design Society. The festival has had a great impact on the market and has initiated many positive changes as well as festivals and exhibitions such as Croatian Design Day.

Minival

A boutique music festival that promoted new bands and a way for musicians to introduce themselves to a new audiences and the media.

Christmas Fairytale

Pepermint also participated in the design and organization of a part of the Zagreb Advent that was voted best in Europe for years. An excellent gastronomic offer, fabulous scenery and highly fun program are bait for hundreds of thousands of visitors during the 45 days of Advent.

Vintage festivals

Tomo and Boris carried over their fascination with the vintage culture and love of music into their business. The agency has organized some of the best Croatian vintage festivals, such as Dolce Vita and Vintage ZG, as well as a recent festival dedicated to the most beloved Croatian film One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away (Tko pjeva zlo ne misli), which is held at the filming location of the movie in the Maksimir forest.

Disco Lauba

An agency project that was launched on the postulates of organizational excellence in the club and event industries. Performers such as Dimitri from Paris and DJ Reflex have attracted over 1,500 visitors to the prestigious Lauba Gallery space. It is important to emphasize that the project was launched shortly before the worldwide promotion of Defected Records by Glitterbox, which was based on similar postulates and its musical direction.

Weekend Media Festival

launched in 2008, the Weekend Media Festival has become the most important business event in the region. The unique idea of business loitering is transformed into a well-organized three-day gathering of professionals related to the media industry. The old tobacco factory in Rovinj has become home to this unique festival, which attracts up to 12,000 regional visitors. Excellent lecturers and speakers, networking and entertainment are the elements that make this conference a must-attend event for professionals from the media and communications industries.
